Winners of APHA's Get Ready Preparedness Cats Photo Contest announced

Thanks to everyone who submitted an entry into APHA’s Get Ready Preparedness Cats Photo Contest! We received more than 200 photos of preparedness cats. It was hard to choose, but our judges selected 23 winning photos for our 2013 calendar. From cats in bathtubs and sinks to kitties hiding in boxes and under rugs, the photos show that preparedness and cats go hand in hand (or paw in paw!).

April calendar photoThe photo contest, which was held in September 2012 in conjunction with National Preparedness Month, used cats as a fun to promote preparedness lessons.
